Terms of use

By using hockeyratings.win, you agree to the following terms.

1. The service

HockeyRatings presents, for free, player ratings from a hockey video game, roster by roster, with browsing tools, community votes and a league board. The site is unofficial (see the legal notice).

2. Permitted use

You may browse the site for personal use and share links to its pages. You may occasionally quote a few ratings, for example in a discussion or a video, crediting hockeyratings.win.

3. Prohibited use

• Automatically extracting the site’s content (bots, scripts, scraping) or copying a substantial part of it, in particular to build a database or a competing site.
• Circumventing the site’s limits and protections (anti-bot checks, vote limits, etc.).
• Manipulating votes, for example with multiple devices, scripts or accounts.
• Overloading, attacking or disrupting the site.
• Posting on the league board content that is illegal, hateful, misleading, unrelated advertising, or not yours.

We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules.

4. League board

Listings are published after approval, at our sole discretion, and expire automatically. You are responsible for what you post and for your dealings with people who contact you. We may remove a listing at any time.

5. Accuracy and liability

Content is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of accuracy or availability. Ratings may contain errors and change with game updates. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for damages arising from the use of the site or of third-party sites it links to.

6. Intellectual property

The code, design, original text and data organization belong to the publisher. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their owners; for any request, see Contact & takedowns.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and Canada. We may change them; the date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
